Another great publishing opportunity came through my email this week. This one is with Dr. Dan Surry at the University of South Alabama. I’ve know Dan for a long time, and I’ve worked with him on another book. So, if it’s a good fit for your, please take advantage of it.
A couple of colleagues and I here at the University of South Alabama are working on a new edited book.
The book is titled “Technology as a Tool for Diversity Leadership: Implementation and Future Implications”. The main concept is that we want the book to include a variety of perspectives related to how technology is enabling organizations in all sectors of society to become more effective and efficient through the inclusion, development, promotion, and embracing of a diverse, multicultural environment. I know that sounds a little vague, but we are open to any ideas for chapters that explore the intersection of technology, diversity, and leadership. We think that is a fascinating and important area and we are pretty excited about the book’s potential.
The Call for Chapters is online at:

The listed deadline for submitting a proposal is August 3, but we are flexible on that. Proposals are only 400-600 words, so there isn’t a lot of time required to submit a proposal.
I know each of you is really busy and this may not be your area of expertise/interest, but if you know anyone who is working in this area, would you please tell them about our book? Of course, if you would like to submit a chapter proposal, that would be great, too!
Let me know if you have any questions or comments or if I can provide some more information.
Hope your summer is going well!
If I can ever be of any assistance to you, please let me know.
Thanks,
Dan
