While not eLearning and Web development, some stories beg to be shared. So, in the spirit of Diaroogle (and if you don’t know about that service or if you haven’t had a fall-out-of-your-chair-side-splitting laugh today then I encourage you to take a look), Runpee is a site that offers advice on when you should go to the bathroom during a movie. Now, I have only been to about a handful of movies in the last few years since having kids. But I have tried (emphasis on tried) to take my children to a movie, and I certainly needed to know when to take a wee one to potty. To this day I still have know idea how Wall-e ends. Between the bathroom and the scary robot chase scene, I’ve never seen the end. And with the cost of going to the movies near student-loan proportions, you definitely want to miss as little of the good stuff as possible. (Thanks to my fave Lifehacker for the heads up.)

Hello there,
I am a student here at Union University. I am currently in Dr. Anna Clifford’s class. For your upcoming visit to Union University we were assigned to go online here to your (blog) website and find something we relate to, then blog about it. Therefore, I find this blog very interesting. Your right, some stories have to be shared so here is my thought and suggestions. I have also always wondered when the best time was. I find the best time to be right before a movie actually starts. I have always needed to go during a movie. It would always happen during the best parts. I feel the same way about the cost. The cost of things is ridiculous today. If I am going to pay $8.00 for a movie five things must happen for me to really say, “I got my money worth” such as, the movie better not mess up, the popcorn and peanut m and m’s must be available, people need to watch the movie and NOT talk, the movie must be good and end great, and last but not lease I better not have to runpee! If for some reason, I have to go runpee I make sure I tell the person beside me, “Let me know what I miss”. So let me suggest two things before you got to another movie with your children. First of all, take them to the bathroom before the movie starts, and definitely do not buy a large drink.
